Kab Sik Seo is the president and CEO of Bushitol Corporation. Prior to joining Bushitol, he worked with Eastman Chemical Company for 28 years as a technology leader in R&D. He led Eastman’s corporate rheology lab and was involved in new product development, manufacturing and processing of polyester polymers, cellulose acetates and various chemicals. He played a key role in the development and commercialization of Eastman’s innovative products, such as thermotropic liquid crystalline polymers, biodegradable polymers, microfibers and water-based coatings.
Kab collaborates with small and medium-sized South Korean companies, helping them explore the US market for their products and technologies. He gives consultation, technical seminars and workshops on the R&D of polymer technology and rheology to large corporations and research institutes in South Korea.
